Anti Cancer, is the desire of every heart, most assuredly.
When he was thirty one Dr Servan Schreiber was diagnosed with an advanced brain tumour. He was successfully operated and returned to his former lifestyle.
Lunch consisted of Chilli con carne, a bagel and a cola. He played no sport and did no exercise. Seven years later the cancer returned, and he realised he was going to die if he didn't change his lifestyle.
Up until then the psychiatrist believed in modern Western Medicine, but now decided to consult a Tibetan doctor. This doctor doesn't consider the symptoms of a sickness, but rather what a body needs to protect itself from disease. Meditation, acupuncture and a change of dietary habits were recommended.
Servan-Schreiber began a deep search of the scientific literature. Eventually he came to the conclusion that we have within ourselves the capacity to prevent cancer.
He states that everyone has cancer cells in their bodies, but in the West only one in four die of cancer. What about the other three? Could it be because they have balance in their lives?
He believes that yoga gives one a positive attitude. He now starts every day with ten minutes of meditation. The day progresses better with less stress.
Again he recommends, exercise, not to prevent cancer, but to feel good about our time on Earth.
Says he; I feel much healthier now at 47 than I did at 30.
Healing Without Freud or Prozac is his other book.
Remember for example the scientifically proven benefits of soluble
fibre and phytosterols in the anti cancer struggle. In for example apple
diet, beetroot constipation, tofu nutrition and Toscanini celery soup, for example.
Research done at the University of Utrecht as to why the
Netherlands has the highest rate of breastcancer in the world (1/ 8
women) pointed to too much animal protein in the diet. Meat no more than
once a day... thus our delicious mutton stew is filled with many
aromatic vegetables. Against-cancer.
"Cancer is the norm if we don't get these factors in balance."

What will happen to the future price of ebooks? Personally I'm yet to be convinced that the market will pay the same or slightly more for a Kindle book, plus the price of this device, of course, than a conventional book. On Kindle, this book costs $16.35
Update; it's come down to $11.99. Next month $5.99?
Because mushrooms are particularly high in antioxidants like selenium and zinc they also have anti cancer properties.
NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF MUSHROOMS ...
Research on a group of elderly folk found that those who ate strawberries regularly had one third of the cancer compared with those who ate little or no strawberries. Thought to be due a group of substances called phenols that are strong anti-oxidants.

To be quite honest, I doubt that chiropractic manipulation of the spine has any effect on whether we get cancer or not.
Many insurance companies now only pay for physical therapists to provide a chiropractic adjustment; that's in the face of powerful research proving that inclusion of DCs to perform their own technique would save them a good deal of money. One has to conclude that political medicine has gone off on another tack to contain our profession.
It's being successful with some doctors of chiropractic quitting. Others become involved in some dodgy practices, like demanding that patients sign up for a whole year of treatment in advance, in order to stay in business.
In recessionary times, the going is tough when the insurance won't pay.
Is the day approaching for a new Wilk versus the AMA and the insurance companies?
The chiropractic profession has tried hard to stay on the moral high ground; those who stoop to unscrupulous practices need to be exposed and disciplined if we are not to stoop to the low blows that medicine has often resorted to contain and eliminate us.
