Chiropractic legal rights have dogged the heels of Chiropractors ever since DD Palmer stated his discovery of a new healing profession in 1895.

It is interesting that a very large number of medical doctors should have been so threatened by a tiny minority. Perhaps they had an inkling of what was to come, and how Chiropractic would undermine their dominance.


Brazil

In the latest of hundreds of court cases, a Brazilian judge has ruled in favour of a small band of Chiropractors against the seemingly enormous odds: 92 000 physiotherapists. Read more about Brazil Chiropractic ....

Physical Therapists providing a "Chiropractic adjustment?"

With many insurance companies now only paying for Physical Therapists to provide a "Chiropractic Adjustment", in the face of powerful research proving that inclusion of Chiropractors to provide the Chiropractic Adjustment would save them a good deal of money, one has to conclude that political Medicine has gone off on another tack to contain Chiropractic.



And it's being successful, with some Chiropractors quitting. In recessionary times, the going is tough when the insurance won't pay.
